TERRA-TACTICAL’s Pistol Course is designed to meet and exceed the State of Virginia’s Concealed Carry Weapons Permit (CCW) requirements by offering 4 hours of classroom instruction followed by 2 hours of range time.

TERRA-TACTICAL’s class size will typically remain under 10 students and range time will never exceed 2 students. This rationale is to simply provide a one-on-one, interactive course designed to enhance the student’s knowledge and appreciation for firearm safety. Students are encouraged to bring any experiences or questions with them as learning is essential for students and instructor alike!

Classroom will cover:

  • Safe Gun Handling

  • General Pistol Knowledge

  • Anatomy of a Firearm

  • Firearm Safety

  • Anatomy of a Bullet

  • Basic Ballistics

  • Loading and Unloading

  • Basic Cleaning and Maintenance

  • Fundamentals of Marksmanship

  • Stance Types and when to use them

  • VA CCW Law and Reciprocating/Non-Reciprocating States.

Range Time puts all this into practice covering:

  • Zeroing your Weapon

  • Stance, Sight Alignment

  • Grip, Trigger Pull

  • Shot-Placement and Follow-Through

$80.00 for the Conceal Carry Weapon (CCW) Permit class

$50.00 for 2 hours of range instruction with no additional charges or range fees.
